Adam Sjoberg, 22, graduated from Biola University with a Fine Arts degree in Studio Arts.  He came to Biola from Grabill, Indiana whose population is 50 percent Amish and plans to make California his permanent home.  Raised by a pastor and a homemaker, Sjoberg always knew he loved art and traveling.  He has traveled all over the world in the past 3 years; among his journeys are a solo-backpacking trip through Europe and a backpacking trip through Uganda.  Sjoberg says, “My whole life I’ve been creative, but was unable to be involved with many arts at my high school. Biola has allowed me to freely express myself and shed the negative stigmas attached to being an artist."  Sjoberg plans to pursue a career making and creating art and hopes to someday teach at the university level.
